Chapter 20. Noodles

 

The rest of the drive was sweet.  Gas seemed to have stabilized, but they did keep the tanks full with frequent stops because ‘you never know’.  They pulled into Arkham at around 11:30 and went straight to Larry and Patty Shray’s new “Cafe Yian” to unload and stretch.  They parked in the front, and went in, Evan staying close to the front windows in order to keep an eye on the truck.
